hi bought the aura bass shakers as recommended in the previuos post.
my question is can i power them directly from my subwoofer which has a built in amp?
because i have a dts reciever which i directly connect each individual speaker in my system to. so my subwoofer has many empty outputs.
will this work? or do i need to buy a seperate amp?
or do i need to buy a seperate anp?

I'm not 100% sure but i think it is possable to do it but not good becaues the bass shakers work a lot better with the volume all the way up and if your sub volume is all the way up you might blow your sub..I split the sub line and put it in a cheap amp which runs all 4 of them...I must say they are very good.

Which sub are you using?
You can get powerred outputs from the sub?

I'd go with a separate amp for the bass shakers. Try partsexpress, or mcmelectronics for cheap amps. There's also the apexjr. amp that people are using.

It really depends on how you get the sub signal. If you run the cables from the line level outs on your sub, this is just a signal and doesn't have enough juice to power those Bass Shakers. If you use the speaker level outs, keep in mind that this bass has been crossed over twice (once by the receiver and once by the amp on your sub) so you might not get as full of a signal from your bass shakers. This might not matter too much since the bass shakers do not go down too low. In my system, I used an Yamaha Pro Logic receiver and hooked it up through the line level outputs of my sub. With a little experimentation with the equalizers and a lot of juice (I have to turn the volume over half way up) it seems to work the best.

Hey, as I mentioned earlier, I got my 2 BS's to work using the 100 W Pioneer Sub Amp. My wife DOES think its cool, maybe it's a GIRL thing

Anyway, I ordered 4 more BS's. Does anyone know if I can add 2 more BS's to this same amp?? Will this set-up work?
