When I watch a dark scene, I can see from time to time a circle brighter from the rest of the screen and it's right in the middle of the screen. It's at least 20 inchs diameter. I tried adjusting my contrast and my brightness but it is still there, even when these settings are very low.

I was thinking of getting my RPTV an ISF Calibration. But is it worth it. If the problem is not solve then, I would have paid for nothing (If Toshiba decide to change some parts). Should I contact Toshiba about this, before getting the calibration?

Any help would be appreciate,
Thanks,

I would have suggested adjusting brightness right away, but it seems as if you tried that. As far as the isf calibration, you get what you pay for. If they perform calibration and adjustments and your tv still has the same problem, I don't see how they could charge you for fixing it, if they didn't.

I think that an ISF Calibration does not fix that type of problem, but I thought maybe they could improve the picture quality and maybe decrease the problem... Anyway, I will call Toshiba before getting it get calibrate.

I have a 50in and I have the same problem! I thought I was the only one. However, I only see it (best described to me as a "halo") when most of the screen is black and it doesn't bother me all that much. Sorry to hear it bugs you so.
