LG LCD tv settings
So...
I have a 42" LG LH30, playing movies thru on my PS3 slim through an Onkyo TX-SR608.
The tv has an internal settings "wizard" that helps with calibration.
my question is: can I trust this type of calibrator?
also - the tv has some preprogrammed settings - vivid, standard, natural, cinema, game, sport
can I trust that their engineering set those properly? If I watch a blu-ray, should I set the tv to "cinema". or.. should I leave it on standard and do their settings wizard?
and to further complicate this: is a thx optimizer a better way to calibrate the tv? (i have the glasses).
I've tried all the different settings and version of, and some of the difference are bigger some really minute.
which way is the most trustworthy? I think after playing with the settings so much my eye is betraying me, and I cant tell what is optimal.... help! lol

Re: LG LCD tv settings
i had a 37 inch LG and the picture wizard works fine and you can trust it. i have a couple of calibration disks and i noticed you get about the same results with the wizard.
as a matter of fact the "cinema" mode is very close to what the wizard will give you and also close to what the calibration disks result settings give you too.
since they're so close i usually just set mine to cinema mode and go with that.
hope this helps good luck and enjoy.
