I just bought my first receiver, a Yamaha RXV995. Unfortunately it wasn't the us version so it requires DD RF Coax input (apart from toslinks) but I am using HTPC with hollywood+ card which outputs dd bits ONLY through DD coax (no rf). Is there such thing as RF modulator for digital signal? I talked to a radio shack guy and he said they don't have such thing. Help me guys, I need your wise insights...help I NEED to hear 6 discrete channels in my room

According to the specs, the receiver has a coaxial CD input and, provided the CD input allows DD decoding, you can hook up the DVD player here.

Your other choice would be to purchase a device that converts digital coax to digital optical (somewhat expensive).
