I just bought my first receiver, a Yamaha RXV995. Unfortunately it wasn't the us version so it requires DD RF Coax input (apart from toslinks) but I am using HTPC with hollywood+ card which outputs dd bits ONLY through DD coax (no rf). Is there such thing as RF modulator for digital signal? I talked to a radio shack guy and he said they don't have such thing. Help me guys, I need your wise insights...help I NEED to hear 6 discrete channels in my room

It seems you are using a dvd player to connect to the amp. The RF input is only for laserdisc players.

I have a non-US RX-V995, and the the RF input is for the DD-RF output on an LD player only.
