If you go with Cambridge I would not buy anything less than their Centerstage center channel speaker. It's a great sounding speaker especially for $199 but the other cheaper stuff is weak at best.

The other thing to do is look on ebay, I think they dump all of their refurb stuff on there at prices well below their "sales."

I was going to say the same thing, but lopezii beat me to it. Buy the stuff on ebay. It is refurbished, but it is still under full warranty and you are buying from a place where you know you will not get screwed. I just bought a dtt2500 on ebay from them for $159 (normally $300)

I think the center channel plus is a very good center channel, unless you have a huge tv the center stage looks kind of ridiculous on top of a 27 inch tv IMHO. They also sell refurbished stuff in stores, just not the top of the line stuff. A salesperson explained to me that refurbs are simple returns from people that upgraded to a higher model. They factory test/inspect the stuff and sell below sale price.
