i bought a pioneer 525 last winter from va.com and lately, the past couple of weeks, it appears that dvds are 'skipping' during play. it happens in the exact same spot of the dvd, so it's not at random. and in particular during "the beach" dvd it got so messed up during near the middle/end of the movie i had to fast forward through it. is something wrong with my dvd player? has anyone had similar problems, namely with the beach dvd? also it always skips in 'death row uncut dvd' but i doubt anyone has that one. thanks

Take off the cover, get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust/dirt (assuming it's there) on the lens.
