Re: Audio cables
I would say Monster Cable should be an upgrade over the cables that tend to come with a dvd player. However, I feel Monster Cable brand is way over priced. I do all of my current shopping for cables and the such at monoprice.com and love them!

Another vote for Monoprice... been very happy with the cables I've purchased from them.

Re: Audio cables
There is a real question as to whether ANY cable has an audible difference for line-level analog audio.
Monoprice's audio cables aren't anything special, but they are far cheaper. If you are going to pay for something, I'd recommend searching for cables with a good connector that attaches well. Monster's average connectors attach TOO well. Monoprice's don't attach well.

Here's a place to get some of the highest quality cables that exist for pretty good prices, they seem to beat bluejeans for the same cables:

Re: Audio cables
I've never had an issue with how well their cables connect. I've seen a few reviews where folks have said that but never experienced it myself.

Re: Audio cables
I've used monoprice with my system and others I have installed and never had an issue with them being loose. I have used bluejeans also and their equipment is very good also.

Re: Audio cables
Personally, I've never had a problem with the cables I've gotten from monoprice. Maybe I've just gotten lucky, but it's hard to beat their value.
