kind of a stupid question

I am home for the holidays and I was wondering if my flat screen LCD tv is okay being in its original box for over a month? I don't want to hook it all up only to unhook it when I have to leave again...

No offense, but I agree, it's kind of a stupid question. The TV has been in the box since it was manufactured. What do you think is going to happen to it? That it's going to go rancid?

They do go stale you know. As long as it's not exposed to extreme temperatures you'll be fine. Also don't leave it in a cold garage or cold car, bring it in and turn it on right away. I think the rule about allowing them to get to room temperature still applies.
