I have a 46” Sony LCD TV (46V5100). I want a mount that will let me tilt up and down, as well as left and right. I would also want it to extend a decent amount so that I could turn the TV to, say, a 45º angle to the all (left/right).

I saw this one at Best Buy:

Which would do everything I would want, but the cost is around $350. Any other good mounts out there that I should be looking at, or places to buy them?

That would work for a smaller TV, but it looks like the width of a 46" TV would keep it from much of a side angle (it extends about 11" from the wall). If I had a smaller TV that would be a nice mount though.

yeah, I haven't checked monoprice in a while. I bought a tilt mount for a 42" plasma a few months ago for about $30 shipped and it was perfect.

Thanks for the monoprice tip. I knew that there had to be good mounts that did what I wanted for less than $375.

Here is the one I'm looking at, I just need to measure the studs now to make sure they are 16" apart. I can access/measure them through my air intake vent.
