Not that I wouldn't buy one if it didn't.
Canadian release date is Oct 26 at MSRP of $450. I think they'll sell out faster than Britney Spears tix...so I'm gonna pre-book one.

I already preordered my PS2...I believe it will have an S-Video..not sure about component!!! If you have not preordered one yet...you better find a place fast that is still taking preorders. Ebworld and Express.com claim they have maxed out on preorders and any orders placed now will not be filled at launch.

PS2 has an A/V multi out, similar to the one on N64. It supports RF, Composite, S-Video, and Component. It will also support stereo and optical digital out. I'm not sure about coaxile, or how the digital outputs will connect to the PS2

PS2 will have a standard optical output, fully compatible with digital optical connections found on any digital receiver. No option for digital-coax will be available.
