And knows how to disable the front panel speakers? I am getting this horrible static over the speakers and I am about 1 hour away from taking the TV apart and pulling the wires from the speakers! Anyone know how to disable these things?

I have an older c35v60 and the way you do it is via the audio button on the remote...There is a menu onscreen to turn off the speakers.

I don't have an audio button. And in the "Audio" on screen Menu, there is no mention of speaker disabling. Man, this stinks. How could they not have something so trivial?

I did this trick: volume=0
let the receiver handle the rest.

Yeah I did too, but I'm getting some sort of interference through them... ugh.
