I was wondering if there was any other quick auction sites like Ubid that also have DVD/Audio/Home Theater items. Has anyone done business with Ubid? Good or Bad? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with other auction sites other then eBay and Ubid, but www.Mercata.com is a good place to buy home theater equipment at a good price. It is a lot like mobshop.com in that the more people who agree to buy, the cheaper the price becomes. Also, if you register now you get a 100.00 store credit that can be used to pay for up to 20 percent of any order (excluding taxes and shipping). Hope this helps you out some.

Thanks DVDJunkie. Just signed up for Mercata, got the bonus dollars, and found a JBL sub. I ordered the JBL 12-Inch 250-Watt Powered Subwoofer, PSWD112 and it came out to be $186.64 shipped. I think that it is a really good deal. I may be wrong, but for a guy who is currently watching DVDs without one, I think it is worth it.

I still need help locating a great deal on a quality reciever. Any help would be appreciated.

Also kudos to everyone who has posted beneficial posts. They have really helped, and saved myself and many others some serious coin.

Thanks again.
