I'd still like to know about the ability of new US-model TVs to display PAL signals- it's going to be a big factor in which one I decide to get since the frame rate of stuff shot on video gets messed up on players that do PAL to NTSC conversion.

And I see nobody's going to talk about it here either- I was hoping the original poster would at least say what "help" they needed and how they "fixed" it.
