Hey folks:

I need a power converter to power up a car amp in my house. Is this possible?

I assume it is, but what am I looking for, and where can get it?

Thanks for your time,
Patrick

Radio Shack has a 110V AC to 12V DC converter that should work for you for around $40.

No that one won't output enough amps to drive an amp.

This might be it http://www.radioshack.com/ProductCat...800896,00.html

but radio shack does not have enough info on it on the web page. I own one, but can't find it right now to tell you number off of it. Give them a call and ask if the part number in my link will be enough to drive an amp.
