I have recently stumbled across a Pioneer LD-V6000A for cheap (under $100), and I was wondering if anyone is familiar with laserdisc players from Pioneer's Industrial Division. Are these players suitable for home use? How is the image/sound on Industrial players comparable to Pioneer's home players, like the CLD-704 or the CLD-3070?

Their quality shoudl be as high for Industrail use as for the home. One big thing to look at is most of the Industry machines do not flip sides. you have to do it manualy and they load slower.

I have a friend who has one and it works well for his use. We have never minded the flipping of the disc as our drinks are usually empty by then anyway.... (he can't seem to get his wife to get up and fix us drinks)
