Just curious. I've been looking around for a TV for awhile and was thinking that I could possibly stretch my $ to add this feature. I know it's mostly available w/ HD-ready sets, but I know there is a 32" Panasonic SuperFlat that will accept a 480p signal. What is the cheapest option?

There don't seem to be too many low cost options currently. I am not up to date on these models, but generally you have a choice of the RCA 36", Hitachi 32"?, and the Panasonic you mentioned, (32"?). I wouldn't recommend the RCA for a number of reasons, plus its running $2500, with dish and STB.
Lately, the best bargin has been the Hitachi from Amazon. These are refurbished models and they only get a handful at a time -- ie. you need to move fast. A month ago they flew off Amazon for $1300, this month a they sold at $999. There all gone and usually only last about a day. If your really interested, I suggest you bookmark the Amazon page and check everyday. (This set will also do an okay job of displaying true HD, unlike most of the other direct view sets).
I don't have info on the Pansonic pricing, other than I was asked about it recently and looked at the web page. Looks like a good set if the price is right.
