Insignia Blu-ray player?

HI everyone,

Best Buy's "house brand" for blu-ray players is Insignia. I'm not looking for a lot of bells and whistles. Would an Insignia be okay?

I know a lot of pricier ones have a USB port - does that matter?

What about BD Live?

It depends what Insignia player you are talking about. They have an 'old' one and new ones with BD-Live and USB Port. If you have a Costco go there, spend $200, and get a Panasonic or Sony.

I read on another forum it is a re-badged Samsung BD-P1500.

I personally have no interest in BD Live and haven't seen anything in the forums to pique my interest. I guess before I bought an Insignia I'd grab one of the Magnavox's at WalMart for $98 and take my chances.
