at this point i have a carver 2 channel home amp. its brand new and never been used. i believe its the A220 but i'm not sure because in the picture on the carver website it doesn't have the thx emblem. so maybe i have the model above? i'm not sure. well i'm gonna use that to power a car sub (M&M) which may not be all that well known, but it is defintely a great sub. as for the receiver i am going to go with an denon avr-2800 or an avr-1800. i know very little about home audio but i would imagine you could hook that carver amp up via the sub output? am i right on that one? as the the dvd player...i have no clue at this point. i am willing to spend about 300 bucks so any suggestions would be appreciated. as for the 5 speakers...i am planning to go with two nht superones up front, 2 nht superzeros for the surrounds, and 1 supercenter for the center channel. please keep in mind that this is for a fairly small apartment for this fairly poor college student. what does everyone think of this setup? and will my amp go with my receiver? any help would be greatly appreciated or if you just want to say hi that would be cool too. thanks to everyone in advance. sorry for the novel...haha thanks again.
