I bought this player in Oct 99. I then waited for my TW65X81 to be delivered from Value America and BuyitNow. After waiting several months for my still elusive RPTV, I decided to connect the SD-9100 to my HT. I also have my Pioneer DVL-700 connected.
The Problem.
Every DVD that I’ve attempted to watch and I mean every one, starts to pixel about midway through the movie. I have cleaned the DVD player and DVD but this does not help. It might play a few scenes or chapters that was a problem, but then it inevitably will revert back to the pixels.
I then take the same DVD from the sd-9100 and play it the DVL-700. It performs flawlessly.
Although I’ve had this player since Oct 99, I just connected it in May 2000.
Any suggestions on what could be my problem.
