Subject says it all, anyone getting out of LaserDisc have one to part with? At this point not really brand specific Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Nakamichi, etc. As long as it has 1 AC3 input, and either 1 digital or coaxial output.

Unfortunetly you are a month or so late as far as getting reasonably priced new RF Demodulators. All the manufacturers seemed to have stopped production in the last month or two. Now you will be left at the mercy of the eBay/Money whores who will charge you upwards of $200 for it.

The going price on Ebay is determined by the supply and demand for AC-3 demodulators by bidders. Deal with this reality, you'll be happier. The last I heard, the US was a capitalistic society, not a socialist one.

Thanks for the info guys thats what I was afraid of.

On another note, I found a Technics SH-AC300 (Digital Sound Processor) today at a local pawn shop, anyone know if this unit would do it? The inputs on the back show AC3/PCM but will they decode the RF signal of a laserdisc player?

You may be in luck. It looks like as of May 2000, Sony still manufactured the RF-1 -- see link below. MSRP is $120.
