So I got my HD70 back from being repaired, and a new bulb. All seems to be working fine and had it up and running for the games today.

But for some odd reason, I have to have it set to LBX rather then 16:9 to fill my screen. I know I had it at 16:9 and have to no moved the projector (it is ceiling mounted, so I know the exact location it was in before).

I'm still playing, but I couldn't see where my Dish HD box was set wrong.

Any suggestions?

Try some disc sources. TV is always a mess, can't ever be sure if it's you, your PJ, your STB, Dish, local CBS (whichever), national CBS.....

I think it came to me this morning. While hd70 was out being repaired I put up my old x1. The x1 of course did not have Hdmi, so I hooked component up to the hd dish. I'll reconnect when I get home tonight via hdmi and see it that takes car of it.

You probably have more AR choices with component, in the STB, I mean. Maybe it's just not the right one.

I switched to HDMI...all is fine now. Duh...LOL

And OMG...what a freaking picture. I knew my old lamp was getting dim...but it must have been more then that. After calibrating my jaw dropped. I should have replaced the bulb sooner.
