This is kind of a pointless bump, but I did end up buying the 46" 850U from Vanns, though Amazon, and everything went great. The delivery person helped carry it inside, which was nice. The TV looks great - it's replacing a 30" Sony widescreen CRT and it seems every bit as capable as that set. I've still been slightly too nervous to play Rock Band or anything like that on it, so I'm not sure how it'll do in that regard.
