Also need advice on subwoofer purchase
Have a Yamaha YHT-500 HTIB Setup in one of our small rooms.

We're satisfied with how the satellites perform, but the subwoofer is extremely poor in performance (It's a YST-SW005, 55w RMS, 6.5" driver). It easily gets distorted during some scenes/frequencies.
I am planning to replace the subwoofer, with a budget of around $250 or less.
Suggestions to me so far are the following:
YST-SW315 (10" driver, 250w RMS) - $240 @ Amazon.com
http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/p...&CNTYP=PRODUCT
Velodyne VX-10 (10" driver, 100w RMS) - $169 @ Vanns.com / $333, available locally
http://www.velodyne.com/products/pro...8&sid=570q113x
Wharfedale SW150 (10" driver, 150w RMS) - $200, available locally
http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/model.php?model_id=111
Polk Audio PSW110 (10" driver, 100w RMS) - $266, available locally
http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/p...oofers/psw110/
I currently am in the Philippines but can possibly import stuff from the US, which explains the budget of $250 or less since I will have to allot something for importation costs.
I want bass that is... I don't know what term to use, "soft" yet loud. I dunno if that's similar to "tight" sounding bass?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
