Monoprice wall mounts?
Hey, I noticed that Monoprice is now selling wall mounts for flat-screen TV's, and I was shocked at the low prices. I had a few questions about it though since this is the best place to ask them
:
1. Are these trust-worthy just like their other products are? I've had great success with other things they sell, and I'd assume despite the low prices they would be good mounts.
2. Is there any accommodation I need to make with regards to cables (i.e., I don't have to have in-wall cables)? And is it easy to add new components at any point?
My TV is a Toshiba Regza 32" FWIW.

I bought one in December for my 50" plasma from Monoprice.
Solid mount, rated for twice the weight of my set, too.
Why look elsewhere?
The only issue - and I believe it applies to flat-mounts in general - is that adding cables after the fact is a little tough. I had in-wall cables run (two HDMI, one component) at the time of install, just to be prepared in advance.

Great catch and timing (for me). Our bedroom TV just died, and we're thinking about an LCD, which would look much nicer flat on the wall than our 25" on top of a stereo cabinet currently does.

We bought one for our 42 inch plasma. The fit for the cables are a little tight, but you can purchase the inset outlets to help with that.
Install was straightfoward and it seems well built. The TV is still on our wall and it has been almost a year.

We bought this one for our Vizio 37" LCD:

Install was simple. Of course, I didn't care about in-wall and since my walls are horizontal wood panels, finding studs was a breeze (stick in knife, slide until it stops, stud found).
But I would have been happy with this even if my install wasn't so simple. You can't beat the price.
