It says I have 90 days to return unit if there is a problem. That is still legal right?
90 days? Thats unusual, where did you buy the player from? Usually for a big system like that you'd get a one year warranty and the option to buy an extra year or so. So what happens if it just stops working after 100 days, what do you just get rid of something you paid $600-700 for 3 months previously? That is why i'll wait till there is a winner in the format war and when these systems dont have these kinds of problem, if it takes 2-3 years so be it.

He's referring to the store return policy on the receipt as 90 days. I'm sure the unit itself probably has the manufacturer's warranty of a year.
