Good smaller hdtvs 32-40in?
I'm not made of money nor do I have a big place so I'm looking in to getting a lcd tv in the 32 to 40 inch range. I'm hoping for something that can double as pc monitor. Don't want to pay more than a grand for it. Any ideas.

Yeah, I am seeing that. Now I have more requirements.
From what I am reading I will need a 1080p model in order to get the resolution I have become use to. I also want one with dvi
So far there is only one out that fits my needs but it is running for about 1200

SD looks like crap on some channels and ok on other.
WII looks great
I haven't had time to test the ps2 (don't have the cable yet), xbox, or dreamcast. Don't have a ps3 or 360 yet.
PC looks great. I might keep my old lcd to test how SD looks on it. The old crt tv has to go though.
No dead pixels.
DVDs look good.
No Ghosting.
I haven't had time to set the colors and stuff. Someone said disney usually puts a configuration thingy on their dvds so I'll go through the ones I have and see if I have one.

HD looks great. I'm using a indoor antenna that is able to pick up all the HD signals in my area. Oddly there seems to be an extra one that plays old westerns all the time.
I had a minor problem trying to figure out how I would get ota HD and cable tv at the same time. What I did was have the cable go through my DVR and have the antenna connect directly to the tv. So I just change inputs when I want to watch cable tv. What I'll probably do is set my favorite channels A & B to OTA HD. Then set my favorite cable channels to C & D. This tv has a function where you can set your favorite channels to these buttons. I think you can set 4 or 5 channels per button and they will cycle on each press.
