My DVD player can't play DVD disc. It's show "NO DISC".but It still play VCD and some DVD disc. I need answer.

What is the difference between the "NO DISC" discs and the OK discs? Some DVD players cannot play DVDROM discs or DVD+R vs. DVD-R discs. Do you have a dvd player on your computer? Will the "NO DISC" dvd play on you computer?
