Samsung R-145 sound drops

I have 2 Samsung R-145 DVR's that have sound drop outs during any given movie. Both machines do this on seperate systems. Any ideas? ..Thanks, Joe.

What kind of discs are you playing? How are they connected? Are the dropouts random or at exactly the same points?

follow up...

These are rented movies and seem completely random. I have tried going back to the spot in the movie and it has never remained. Thanks for the response.

Well you could try cleaning them first since they are rentals, if they are truly random I would say it is not your equipment but the discs themselves.

Done alot of investigating...

Thanks for the replies...I did alot of investigating and have found that this machine is full of bugs. Last night, it shut off TWICE right in the middle of a movie! ..as if I was not pissed off enough at this thing! Anyhow, I was talking to a guy who is really into this stuff and he said that the R-145 is known for problems. Funny, he told me that alot of the players on the market have far more cliches in them than they want the customer to know about.
