Picture being clipped?

Hello all, I have a Panny TH-50PX60U that I absolutely love, however, when I watch a DVD I notice that on the right hand side of the screen the picture appears clipped, ripped or jagged. This condition appears on virtually every disc that I play. Kinda hard to describe but there is some kind of distortion in a very straight verticle line on the right side of the screen. I never see this when watching regular TV stations. Oh, the DVD Player is a Samsung R-145. My question...is there any way that I can adjust for this condition? Thanks, Joe.

Does the TV have a Position setting anywhere in the menu? Or overscan setting?
