which tv?

Going to be using it for hdtv, xbox360 and such.

Plasma

DLP

The dlp has 1080p while the plasma is 720p. Dlp has the led light engine so I don't need to worry about lamp bulb replacements.

My living room isn't very large, will probably be sitting 6-7 feet away.

Looking to stay 2k and under.

Thx.

LED light engine? What's this? Looks like I stayed away from DLP too much...

They replaced the bulb/color wheel with and LED light, which is supposed to last the life of the set.

I love the TV I purchased in December, but boy do I wish the deal TallGuyMe posted was around back then!

I'm too lazy to lookup all the differences, off the bat, it looks like the one I posted is not "slim" and the contrast ratio is 4000:1 vs 10000:1

Is Samsung the only LED line? Does it cover their entire line?

It has a long life... but the bulbs are not too expensive, and you can enjoy knowing the fact that it won't completely die like some other types of hdtvs
