How do I cool my cabinet?

I'm finishing up my home theater in my nearly finished basement.

I don't have any pictures with me at the moment, but I've built a large cabinet that will hold my A/V equipment, doubling as basic storage as well (meaning it's much larger than it needs to be for the gear.)

I actually designed it so the custom DVD shelf on one side "opens" so that I can crawl into the cabinet and easily make all the A/V connections, so it's pretty roomy in there.

However, with my AVR-435 receiver needing a lot of air clearance coupled with the Xbox 360, I'm starting to think it might get a wee bit toasty in there.

I have room to add some kind of small cooling unit to try to keep the temp down in the cabinet but I haven't found anything that fits the bill. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on this. I'm pretty much looking for the equivalent of a small portable air conditioner or fan/vent system I could install in the cabinet to keep things cool.

Any thoughts? I could post pictures tonight if that would help.
