Recommend me a turntable.
I wanna get a turntable. I just got the new Jason Webley 7" single and I want to be able to play it. I haven't owned a turntable in about 8 years, and I'm only 25 so I missed the Golden-Age of Vinyl and don't really know what I need.
Can anyone point me towards a good affordable one? I have a Denon 2802 reciever to hook it up to, so I don't know if I get one with a composite hook-up or what. Any help is appreciated.

Audio Technica (cheap) or Music Hall (not so cheap). I'd stay away from the big brand names that are normally recommended for other products like Sony, Denon, Yamaha.

Spiky makes good recommendations. Don't overkill it with Technics 1200s. It is a DJ standard but you end up paying money for features you dont need (direct drive v. belt).
I dont know your Denon receiver well enough...is there a phono connection?

I still have a Rega Planar 3 that I bought 20+ years ago. Excellent sounding, but fully manual.
I really haven't kept up with the "traditional" turntables, I know VPI made an excellent unit as well.
