I use a cloth diaper and water.
I bought some diapers from target (cheap).
Then I dampen 1 diaper with filtered water (or bottled) and wipe the TV.
I then dry it with a second diaper.
This will remove the dust, as there are no fingerprints or smudges on my screen.
I would NOT use windex or paper towels on the screen.

Spraying liquid on a screen is a bad idea. Using a little like jonw9 should be just fine. Unless there's some funky coating, but plain water shouldn't be an issue for almost any screen in existence.

Use a lint free cloth to take the Dust off, it comes highly recommended.

I guess I should have noted this was my method for RPTVs, but should work the same for LCDs.
I have no idea what a cloth for cleaningTVs runs, but if you but the Monter cleaner I am sure it will be around $80.
