For a Best Buy receiver, Yamaha is the top brand they sell. Panasonic's better digital receivers would be pretty decent, too. Sony makes crappy receivers, and I have no idea if the house brand Insignias are any good. Those are ones to stay away from. I'd spend as much as you want on a Yamaha if BB is a must as the store. Any receiver can usually drive Klipsch speakers, they are very easy to drive. So that won't be a problem.
All you will need to hook those sources up for audio to the receiver are optical digital cables. So make sure your receiver has at least 2 optical inputs to make it easier. And run HDMI for video directly to the TV. (so that's a yes to your HDMI question) We all like Monoprice.com for quality cables, rather than wasting 2-30 times as much $$$ with what is on the shelf at Best Buy.
I don't know if those speakers come with wire, but you'd help yourself out if you used 16 gauge wire instead. Bundled wire is usually 24 gauge or so. (wire gets bigger with a smaller gauge number) Home Depot or similar stores usually sell bulk 16 gauge speaker wire for cheaper than electronics stores like Best Buy, but BB would have it, too. Just cut it yourself to proper lengths for your setup.
