Surround sound
I am looking to pick up this surround sound system:

Is it any good? I don' want one with a DVD player, because I already have a really good one. So,any thoughts or suggestions?

My experience with Home Theater In a Box systems has never been good. I guess it really depends on how much money you would like to spend. If you are on a budget and just need something simple then I would definitely get a system like you picked out. But if you can spend a little more I would look into buying sperate.

If you're firm on a HTiB, look into the Onkyo systems. I've got one and have enjoyed it, and I think they're supposed to be a little more 'real' than the mainstream HTiBs.
I like the HTiB concept, both in terms of price and convenience, I personally can't and don't want to spend 100-300 bucks per piece.
I got the predecessor to this one

the 780, for around 350-400 from Circuit City after rebates, IIRC.
