hooking computer up to plasma, LCD, DLP

so i can't decide if this is a feature i should get. How does a computer look like when it is hooked up to a tv? i would mainly use it for surfing the internet, but how would it look for playing computer games? right now im trying to figure out what features i need on a tv. i need at least 2 HDMI ports, not sure what a USB port would be good for, and possibly a computer port (sorry i don't know the techy names for a computer port).

Yes you can connect a pc to a tv. HDMI or DVI is your best bet. The pc will look only as good as the video card in the pc, ie., the better quality the card the better quality the output.
