I finally sold the TV tonight to a very nice young couple who live in my neighborhood. They were both very friendly and happy with the deal (I sold it for $750 and threw in all the necessary cables).

nah, just some decent, but inexpensive, component cables from monoprice and a set of RCA audio cables I had lying around.
