Question about Conntrast Ratio on TV

I'm debating between two DLP TVs. Both ar Samsung DLPS. They seem to have the same specs except one has a contrast ration of 2500:1 and the other is 2000:1. I've not been able to see these side by side, in fact I've never even seen the lower ratio one on. Is there going to be a noticeable difference? It's just I can save about a $1000 on the lower ratio one with stand from Costco. It's the HL-R5656 (lower ratio) vs HL-R5667

More is always better but when it's that close i doubt you'd see a difference. Put the money you save towards a pro calibration that will make a larger difference.
