Sharp Aquos DVI question
Does anyone with a Sharp Aquos 26" or 32" know if it is possible to connect audio cables to the TV when using a the DVI input. I checked the owners manual and the only audio input I see for using the DVI is the stereo mini jack, but my DVD doesn't have that output.
Thanks for any info

Sure, there has to be. DVI only passes video, so you'd need to alternate cables for sound.

Looks like that's it. If this picture is similar. Not ideal, but clearly meant for a computer connection, I'd say. You can get an adapter, 2 RCAs to stereo miniplug. I suppose Sharp expects many would have a receiver hooked up or something.

Should cost you at least....$2. Maybe double or triple!
I haven't looked, but I would guess Parts Express has one available at a good price, although you have to pay shipping. Radio Shack would have it, for more money. But maybe less adding the shipping. Possibly even your local megastore like BB or Target.
