Since I'm ignorant in this area, explain why it would look better than component video? Thank you.
Yea, you should do a search on AVS for dvd players and the 4805. I'm sure their are a lot of suggestions from Infocus owners there. A player with good 480i/480p performance may very well be better than an upconverting player with digital connection for this projector.

Well, it's been almost three months, but I finally pulled the trigger on the Screenplay 4805. Got it for $825 (after rebates) at Circuit City. For the record, I also bought the aforementioned Onkyo Home Theater system (7.1). I know what some people thnk about Home Theater in a Box, but I'm very happy with this system.

On the Projector note, it comes with a 2 year warranty. Is it worth getting the 4 year plan from Circuit City for an extra $179? Thanks again for the advice.

That's all that matters.

I wouldn't unless it covers the bulb. And if it covered the bulb for any reason not just "manufacturing defects" or something like that. How much are replacement blubs on that projector, anyway? What did you do for a screen?

Those lamps are over $300. I doubt that warranty covers a replacement lamp.
