I picked up the Criterion LD of The Graduate a couple of months ago and unfortunately just got around to watching it. I had heard how good the commentary track was and popped it in to listen to it. It wasn't there! At least not on the first side. I was able to listen to the remainder of it on the other sides? I have never heard of this before. I'm wondering if it is a manufacturing error or whether it is due to aging?

I should really get around to at least testing the things before leaving feedback.

Never heard of a commentary track that disappeared due to age. Are you sure you were pressing the right buttons? *ducks*

Yup, I was doing everything correctly. I was able to listen to the commentary track on the other 3 sides but not the first one.
