help with Malata 806 ???
I just got a Malata 806 in the last few weeks. Problem is that my tv's closed captioning does not seem to work with it. At first I assumed this player just did not support CC as I know some players do not (the first player I ever had was a JVC that did not)....but this does not make sense as the set up menu has an option to turn caption ability on or off. I have it set to "on".
I've just seen somewhere that progressive scan can interfere with the ability to display captions, so I've been trying to figure out how to turn the progressive scan off, and if it's possible, I cannot figure out how to do it. I've been looking through all the set up menus and through the book and am at a complete loss.
Can anyone help?
