DVD Recorders HDD! Can it be Changed?
If I buy a DVD recorder with a 80GB HDD and decided in a few months that it's not enough, can I easily pop the HDD out and put a bigger HDD same like a PC?

Generally not, but it depends on the brand.
No for Pioneer unless you have a closely-controlled service remote, maybe yes for Panasonic. Sometimes the recorder's firmware won't use the extra capacity of a larger hard drive, only the original capacity.

I was thinking of getting the Toshiba DVD recorder which is just $200 with a HDD of 80GB.
If it can't be changed then I will just wait a little longer because the prices of these recorders are really going down very fast. You can get a decent Mitsubishi DVD recorder for just $300 now.LG is already here with it's multi DV-+ rw models
