I have an opportunity to pick one of these up for next to nothing, its in working condition. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about this early LCD projector model? Is it suitable for home theater use with a progressive scan dvd player? I haven't been able to find any information available online regarding this product.... I do know the lamps are quite costly and only work for aroun 2000 hours before they need to be replaced.

I tried this unit out today, I can get a signal to work from a laptop computer running 800 x 600 resolution, but cannot seem to get the svideo inputs working, I select the video 1 or video 2 connection, hit the svhs button, but get no picture at all from the svideo inputs. Any suggestions?
