DVD player that plays AVI and mpg files
What are your thoughts on a good DVD players that can play avi files?
Right now I'm thinking one of the below two both aboth $70-$80.
1.Philips DVP642 DivX-Certified Progressive-Scan DVD Player

2. AVAYON DXP1000 DVD Player

This is an interesting find. I have the Philips which is a great divx/xvid/mpeg player. The divx forums is overloaded with Philips-related threads, but a search for AVAYON only pulled up about half a dozen useless posts. This is a player to keep an eye on.
