I have a Samsung P231 DVD player which is a bit over a year old. In the last month or two it has started to make a lot of noise during playback on many but not all of my DVDs. The DVDs play fine but instead of a quiet whir I get a loud annoying rumble or almost kind of a grinding or vibrating sound. Even though discs play fine is my player going bad or is this a normal part of ageing? What can I do about this?
