Panasonic SA-HT80 Error Please Help
Hi,
I have a Panasonic SA-HT80 5 disc dvd with built in receiver.
My problem is I have tried to play 2 dvds recently and I get an error message on the screen saying that it can not play this type of disc.
These are regular store bought dvd's
Master and Commander and This is Spinal Tap.
All of my other dvd's work fine.
Any thoughts/help?
Thanks!

Panasonic SA-HT80
Hey
I also have a Panasonic SA-HT80 with the same problem. It plays some dvds and not others. I took it to the repair store and they said it had a weak head and suggested I buy a new dvd player since it would be costly to replace the head. Any dvd player that has both optical and coaxial digital outputs (since I can't remember what the panasonic has!) would be fine with the home theater system.
Good luck.

Re: Panasonic SA-HT80
Guys,
I had this problem too. What has helped (so far) was purchasing a DVD laser cleaning disc. I have been playing DVDs for weeks with no problems. Best buy or any electronic stores sell them. Try that first.
By the way, I can no longer download the pdf file of the manual. Does anyone have one they can email me? My email is: [email protected]
thanks,
John
