Best HTIB in $500-1000 Range?

Please give me some ideas for the best home theater in a box in the $500-$1000 Range. I am setting up a budget home theater in my basement. I want to attach it to a front projector that I plan on buying in the $1500 range. I can spend a bit more up to $1300 on the HTIB if it is worth it. I am seeking value. Any help will be appreciated!

I had a friend buy the Onkyo 770 at Circuit City and they love it.

For the price it seems to be a great deal.

I bought the Onkyo 760 (I think that is the number) at Circuit City earlier this year for around $400ish. Anyway, for the price it can't be beat. A nice set of features and the sound it excellent. Beats the hell out of the speakers on my RPTV.

Yes I know about the onkyo, but I am looking for one that has smaller satellite speakers.....I see that the onkyo has large speakers.

Have you looked at the HSU Research package? It seems to be the best in terms of a physically smaller size package. You have to get a receiver on your own though.

They are actually quite small. They look bigger than they are.
