Charter DVR??

I have been considering getting Charter cables DVR. Does anyone have any experience with it, or should I just go with TIVO?

What's the model? If it's an SA8000, it's more of a digital VCR than a full-featured DVR. A lot of the really nice goodies are missing. If you're in an area where the Moxi boxes are being tested, then it's pretty full-featured and not lagging too terribly far behind TiVo. If you're interested in recording HD material, you can't use an HDTiVo with Charter.

They aren't supposed to get in this area for a few more months.

I was going to look into it as well. I think they already offer it in my area. My big question was whether you can record one program and watch another live, which would pull me away from my Tivo service.

The Charter DVR in my area is the SA8000. Any more comments about it?
